received during the summit, the Commissioners decided to seek a
10-year extension of the sales tax, which provides funds for
local non-profit human service agencies for capital improvement
projects.
Boulder County is divided into
three
Commissioners' Districts. All three Commissioners are elected county-wide and represent the County as a whole. Each commissioner
must reside in one of the County's three
districts, and no two commissioners reside in the same district.
Boulder County Pinnacle Awards
The Pinnacle Awards recognize teams of
County employees who demonstrate excellence in public service,
stewardship and sustainability, encouraging public involvement,
innovation, collaboration and teamwork, and/or creativity.
