Risk Management
Risk Management at Boulder County endeavors to keep county losses to a
minimum. This is done by effective loss prevention, loss control, and
claims management.
Primarily self-insured and self-administered, the Risk Management
Division is essentially the insurance company for Boulder County and its
employees. The county's workers' compensation program as well as programs
to prevent and handle property/casualty (liability) claims are
administered from this office.
