Grand opening of Fourmile Link Trail at Betasso Preserve set for July 12

The Boulder County Commissioners and Parks and Open Space department staff are hosting the grand opening of the .8-mile Fourmile Link Trail connecting Benjamin Loop with Fourmile Canyon Drive at Betasso Preserve on Thursday, July 12, at 3 p.m. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the bridge over Fourmile Creek.

Agenda:
  • Hike, bike, or horseback from Benjamin Loop, OR
  • Shuttle from Boulder Canyon park-n-ride to ceremony site begins 2:30 (see map below for shuttle pickup site).
  • Ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m. at the bridge (.25-mile steep hike from Fourmile Canyon Drive.)
  • Nature hike after the ceremony.
  • Last shuttle back to Boulder Canyon lot leaves at 4:15 p.m.
