Updated: Boulder County 2013 Coordinated Election results

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Boulder County, Colo. – The Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office Nov. 13 updated the unofficial 2013 Coordinated Election results at BoulderCountyVotes.org. This brought the total number of ballots tallied for the election to 105,017, up from 101,896.

The updated tally includes ballots from overseas voters as well as voters who needed to add or confirm a signature on their mail-ballot envelope or provide ID for their ballot to be counted. Also included are five to 10 ballots from each precinct and ballot district style to help preserve the anonymity of any ballots added to the tally. All of the ballots were voted on or before Election Day on Nov. 5.

Under state law, voters who needed to cure their ballots had until the close of business Nov. 13 to do so. The Elections Division contacted these voters last week with instructions on how to make sure their ballots were included in the final tally. Overseas military and other voters living abroad had until 4:30 p.m. for their ballots to be in the hands of the Elections Division as long as the return envelopes were postmarked no later than Nov. 5.

The Boulder County Elections Division is set to submit the official abstract of votes to the Secretary of State on Monday, Nov. 25.
