Commissioners to take public testimony on Gross Reservoir Expansion

Public Hearing scheduled for 4:30 p.m., Monday June 16

Boulder County, Colo. – The Board of County Commissioners is interested in receiving input from Boulder County residents concerning the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Moffat Collection System Project (proposed Gross Reservoir Expansion project). The County has submitted initial comments to the Corp of Engineers which can be found at: 

These initial comments may not represent the full scope of issues County residents identify regarding the FEIS and may submit supplemental comments to fully reflect the public’s interest. The Commissioners would like to hear from members of the public on this topic to inform these supplemental comments. The purpose of Monday’s hearing is to identify the public’s interests and concerns regarding the FEIS.

Commissioners will take public testimony on the project at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 16. No decision is expected to take place at the hearing.
