Boulder County Hazardous Materials Management Facility to be Closed July 4-5

Boulder County, Colo. – The Boulder County Hazardous Materials Management Facility (HMMF) will be closed on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. Our offices will resume normal business hours Wednesday, July 9.

The HMMF collects household hazardous waste free of charge for Boulder County, Broomfield City & County, and Town of Erie residents. Businesses are charged a small fee to dispose of their hazardous materials properly. Any products that are in good condition will be placed on the reuse shelves for the public to use at no cost. The reuse area is open to all members of the public and businesses during normal hours of operation.

Closed: Sunday-Tuesday and all county holidays
  • Business waste is accepted by appointment only, usually on Tuesdays.
