(LONGMONT WATER TREATMENT PLANT SI – 13212 N. 53rd Street)

Interpretation and clarification of condition 16 of Resolution 2001-155: Longmont Water Treatment Plant. Condition 16 in part reads "…To avoid peak-hour traffic, the hours of construction must be confined between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm. …" The applicant (City of Longmont) is seeking clarification regarding the intent of this condition and its applicability to construction hours at the plant site. The applicant feels this condition applies to construction traffic and pipeline work along N. 53rd Street and not to the actual construction hours at the Water Treatment Plan Site. If Longmont’s interpretation is upheld construction hours at the plant site would be limited to 7am-5pm Monday through Friday as committed to by the applicants in the Environmental Impact Analysis. Determination if changes to pipeline alignment in or along N. 53rd constitute a major modification to docket SI-01-03 and Resolution 2001-155. The City is proposing to locate two 36" raw water lines and

possibly a 2" treated water pipeline (for Longs Peak Water District) approximately 80’ – 100’ to the east of the approved N. 53rd Street right-of-way alignment. The new location is entirely on the City’s water treatment plant property. (AR: Decision)
