Over time it often becomes necessary to update and/or amend the current version of the Rules and Regulations. This could be due to changes in State Statute, a reflection of new departmental policies, or needed to deal with new issues occurring on POS properties. The last revision of the County’s Rules and Regulations occurred in 2005.

The County may close Parks and Open Space areas to the public and/or to certain animals as necessary or desirable due to wildlife, vegetation, management review, contractual agreement, public safety concerns and/or other resource protection needs.
