Consortium of Cities
Regional Transit Committee
The
Regional
Transit Committee (RTC) was established with the goal of improving
transit services within Boulder County and the City and County
of Broomfield. The
committee was formed to:

Share information with the
Consortium of Cities about
countywide/regional transit issues;
-
Research and
recommend a Transit
Enhancement Plan to the Consortium for a regional bus system
within Boulder County and the City and County of Broomfield;
-
Work with the
Consortium to speak with a unified voice to a variety of regional transit related agencies,
such as the Regional Transportation District (RTD).

During 2006, the RTC finalized
a Transit Enhancement Plan that
outlines an integrated package of services to link communities
within Boulder County and the City and County
of Broomfield, and to improve regional
transportation connections.
