Community Meetings
The Commissioners meet periodically with residents in
various parts of the county to listen to their concerns and respond to questions
about county government.
These informal gatherings are a chance to talk directly
with the Commissioners on issues of county policy, safety and growth concerns, roads and traffic, to name
a few. The Commissioners usually bring along with them officials from the
Sheriff's Office and Transportation
Department to answer questions
specific to their areas.
Additionally, the Commissioners meet at least
annually with the full city councils or trustee boards of incorporated towns and
cities within Boulder County to strengthen ties and review important business
shared between the towns and county government.
