The ClimateSmart Loan Program is an innovative way to finance energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy systems for your home or business.

This program provides full upfront financing for over 40 different residential energy efficiency and renewable energy measures.  Some of the types of projects covered under this program include:

• Adding insulation to attics and walls

• Installing high efficiency heating and cooling systems

• Replacement windows, doors and skylights

• Installing photovoltaic, solar thermal, or wind energy systems

* All residential property owners in Boulder County can apply for a loan, however, mobile homes are not eligible for this program. Mobile Homes may be eligible for subsidized weatherization services through Longs Peak Energy Conservation and their home rehab program

However, this may be an item subject to negotiation with a future buyer and may also be a matter of negotiation with the mortgage lender.
