Information
Properly Marking Ballots

Voters should only use a
blue or black ballpoint pen to mark their ballots.

Voters should not use
pencil, marker, highlighter or crayon to mark their ballots.

Ballot box choices must be completely filled in.

Voters should not check, strike or dot ballot box choices.
Replacement Ballots
-
If you spoil, deface or
lose your ballot, you may obtain a replacement
ballot, not to exceed three ballots
in all.

Returning Mail-in Ballots

Voted ballots must be received by the
Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office no later
than 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.

Postmarks do not count as received.

If you choose to return
your voted ballot by mail, you must affix adequate
postage: $0.44
