The Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 town of Lyons special election was a mail ballot election. The last day to register was November

Ballot Question:
Transfer of
Property for Town Hall Project
Shall the
Board of Trustees of the Town of Lyons be authorized to
transfer to Lyons Development, LLC the property bordered by
Broadway on the North, Park Drive on the South, State
Highway 7 on the West and Fourth Ave on the East, in the
Town of Lyons (the “Property”) in exchange for development
of a New Town Hall, including a New Town Library and
Sheriff’s Public Safety Office, for the Town included in a
Mixed Use Project on the property as specified and to be
specified by development agreements which have been approved
and which may be approved by the Board of Trustees.
