Military & Overseas Voting Information
The Uniformed
and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA)
allows U.S. military personnel, an eligible spouse or dependent
and U.S. citizens who reside outside the United States to vote
in U.S. elections while they are overseas.
There are three classifications for overseas voting:
a.) A member of the Uniformed Services or Merchant Marine on
Active Duty, or an eligible spouse or dependent
b.) A U.S. Citizen Residing Outside the U.S. Temporarily
c.) A U.S. Citizen Residing Outside the U.S. Indefinitely, can
vote in federal elections ONLY
There are three ways to receive and cast your ballot for
overseas voting:
a.) Mail
b.) Fax
c.) Email
- ONLY for uniformed services voters serving outside the U.S.
in cases where mail and fax are not available or feasible
Overseas military personnel, their eligible spouses, dependents,
and U.S. citizens residing outside the U.S. must fill out a
Federal Post Card Application to vote while overseas.

We will
begin issuing ballots on July 11, 2008 for the Primary Election
and on October 4, 2008 for the General Election.
