Recording Division - Records Search

Search for records on our new system called CountyFusion.

Records Search Instructions

CountyFusion allows you to search the Recording Division's database.

• Records are indexed by name (grantor and grantee). You may search by either grantor, grantee or both.

• Dates must be entered in the month, day, year format. For example: 03/03/2009.

• Click on the instrument (reception) number to obtain detailed record information while in the Search Results screen.

• A document's index information can also be found by entering the reception number of a document in the instrument number field. Please note that reception numbers of documents recorded from the early 1900's to 12/09/1971 require 90 to be typed in front of the reception number.  Reception numbers of documents recorded in the 1800's require 80 to be typed in front of the reception number.
  
  Search Tips
   

• To obtain complete search results when searching by an individual's name, type the last name and an asterisk (*) before typing the first name. Do not space before or after the asterisk. For example: Doe*John.

• Typing the middle initial on a search is not recommended, as it may limit search results. 

• If an individual's last name consists of more than one word, you should search the name both with a space and without a space between the words.

• A hyphen may be used for hyphenated names. Do not use apostrophes when searching names.

• When searching a business, begin the name with the first main word of the business. Do not enter the word "the" before a business name.
