What can I do?

• Get to know the youth in your neighborhood, faith congregation, and community

• Learn their names and call them by their name

• Smile every time you see them

• Always look for the positive in them

• Go out of your way to speak to them and acknowledge them

• Be a positive role model 24 hours a day

• Make copies of the 40 Assets and distribute them everywhere

• Include youth of all ages in everything

• Listen to what youth have to say

• Practice saying yes more often to all youth, especially members of your own family

• Relax and enjoy just being with each other
