Visiting Policy~
**All visits must be scheduled in advance.
**All visits are at Center Staff discretion.
**Even if you have scheduled a visit in advance, there is a chance that
your visit may be cut short and/or canceled at the last minute due to current circumstances at the
center.
- If you wish to visit between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., you must
call after 8 a.m. and speak with the shift supervisor.
- If you wish to visit between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., you must call after 4 p.m. and speak with the shift supervisor.
- No visits are allowed after 8:30 p.m.
- No food or drink may be brought into the Center from outside.
- Center staff will search all items brought in for your child.
- Only a parent/legal guardian may visit. All visitors must be over the
age of 21.
- If your child is legally married in the State of Colorado, you must
supply a copy of the signed marriage license.
- Standard visit duration is 30 minutes. Any visit may be cut short at
the discretion of staff.

Clothing & Hygiene~
- The following hygiene products will be provided to your child during their stay at the center:
Shampoo/Conditioner, Soap, Toothbrush/Toothpaste, Dental floss, Comb/Brush, Deodorant, Bath Towel, Lotion, Q-Tips, Feminine hygiene products, Razors and Vaseline
- You may also bring in socks, boxers, underwear and bras for your child.
- You may bring in any of the above items for your child. The following items are not permitted in the center:
Mouthwash, Hair gel, Blow dryer, Cologne or Perfume, Makeup, or Electronic Devices (cell phones, cd's, cd players, radios, etc.)
- You may also bring in clothing and books/magazines for your child.

The clothing and books/magazines cannot advertise sex, drugs, alcohol, illegal activities, or contain inappropriate language. The clothing cannot be revealing, torn or dirty. Strings or ties must be removed from all clothing. No belts may be brought in.
- Tank tops, mesh shirts, halter-tops, tube tops, sleeveless shirts, shorts, and cut offs are not acceptable clothing at the Center.

Phone Calls~
- A five-minute phone call will be permitted twice a day to a parent or guardian. These phone calls are dependant on your child's behavior while at the Center.
- Your child may purchase additional phone time with points earned through good behavior. The additional earned phone time may be used to call friends/family.
- Phone calls are allowed only during specified times of day: 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., 3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Your child will be allowed to make and receive phone calls to professionals (attorney's, Probation, etc.) outside of the above times.
- LONG DISTANCE PHONE CALLS - One long distance phone call to a parent/legal guardian will be permitted upon initial intake only. After initial intake, all long distance phone calls will be dialed collect or will require a phone card.
