Justice System Volunteer Program

Internship Opportunity:
Juvenile Diversion Case Manager Intern~

This program is designed to help divert “at risk” juveniles from further court action while holding them responsible for fulfilling the conditions of their contracts with the District Attorney’s office. Meet one-on-one with juveniles, monitor their compliance with the terms of their contracts, assist in scheduling required appointments, e.g., community service work, counseling sessions, and behavioral modification classes. Provide a positive adult role model for juveniles and meet with diversion staff to report on progress or concerns. Must be a senior majoring in sociology or psychology with an interest in working with juveniles. Fours hours/week for two semesters. Call 303-441-3718, or e-mail jallan@co.boulder.co.us
