Justice System Volunteer Program

Internship Opportunity:
Volunteer Law Clerk~

Clerks assist with daily tasks of deputy D.A.’s in either county or district court, including: drafting legal documents, contacting witnesses, assembling information from law enforcement officers, legal research, preparing motions, organizing trial notebooks, and covering the arraignments process in county court. Preference given to 2nd year law school students with good research and communication skills. Depending on the deputy D.A. and the assignment, four to ten hours/week (flexible days), preferably for two semesters.
