Named after the late Lydia Morgan, a
dedicated elementary school teacher in Louisville for
many years, the Lydia Morgan Senior Housing site was
built in 1997. The handicap-accessible building consists
of 30 one-bedroom units, a community room, laundry
facilities and a large atrium filled with natural light
and seating areas. Second floor units have balconies;
first floor units have patios. The buildings are
centrally air-conditioned and each unit also has
individual air-conditioning control.
