Built in 1997, Eagle Place was Niwot’s
first affordable senior housing development. Located in
the heart of Old Town Niwot, the site consists of 12
one-bedroom units in a two one-story buildings and a
detached community room. All units are designed for
independent living, are wheelchair accessible, and
consist of a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and
living/dining room. Every unit also has a front porch
and back patio.
Architecturally, the cottage-style design with front
porches, steeply pitched roofs, and clapboard-like
siding, is intended to complement the historic, rural
character of the community. The units are within easy
