The Woodland Housing site is a
community based, self sufficiency neighborhood. Woodlands
is a special neighborhood where families choose to move when
they are ready to make positive changes in their lives.
Woodlands is a partnership project between Boulder Housing
Programs and Boulder County's Family Self Sufficiency (FSS)
program. The majority of residents living on site are
participants in the FSS program. The Woodlands site
consists of 35 two and three bedroom townhouse style units.
There is a playground and Head Start classroom on site, as well
as a community center which houses offices for FSS case
managers, a computer lab and a career closet. In addition,
the community center houses community rooms for meetings, life
skills classes and other group functions. The residents
also have access to the room for family functions.
How to apply for the Woodland's
Housing Site~
