- What services are available if my kid is not in trouble?
- In Boulder, one can call Boulder Youth Services which is a referral
agency for youth services in the city of Boulder (441- 4357).
In Longmont, one can call Longmont Youth Services (651-8580).
Either of these agencies can make referrals for other Boulder
County cities as well.
- What are the benefits of diversion?
- There are many benefits to the diversion program. Among them are: no
conviction record, no fines or costs, and the opportunity to have an
active voice in determining the conditions of the diversion contract.
- What if we can't pay the restitution?
- There is a limited fund available for juveniles under 16 to earn
money towards restitution. Juveniles receive credit for community
service hours at a rate of $4.00 per hour (untaxed). The juvenile can
earn up to $200 in this program.
