Programs

Collaboration is the hallmark of the Community Health Division. Preventive services are offered by all of the Community Health Division programs.

Community Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP)

The Community Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) Program works to reduce and prevent substance abuse in Boulder County through individual interventions for teens and young adults and community-level education, advocacy, and policy.

GENESIS

GENESIS promotes healthy parenting practices within Boulder County’s teen parent families. Home-based services help pregnant and parenting teens build skills to support healthy outcomes for the fetus/child and parent.

GENERATIONS

GENERATIONS is a partner program to the award-winning GENESIS Program for pregnant and parenting teens. GENERATIONS was developed in response to the high number of GENESIS siblings who become teen parents themselves.

Inspire Youth Connections

Inspire Youth Connections partners with youth, youth-serving professionals, policy-makers, and community members with the vision of creating a community of resilient school-age children, teens, and young adults who are valued, respected, and supported by the communities in which they live, learn, work, and play.

OASOS

OASOS (Open & Affirming gender identity & Sexual Orientation Supports) aims to increase healthy behaviors and decrease risky behaviors among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and questioning (LGBTIQ) youth through support, advocacy, and education.

Tobacco Education & Prevention Services

The Tobacco Education & Prevention Partnership (TEPP) works through community coalitions to reduce tobacco use by youth and adults in an effort to create a healthy, smoke-free environment for all residents of Boulder County.
