Online Notice of Value Search for Real Property

Notices of Valuation (NOVs) are designed to explain the assessment of your property in detail. Your property has been compared to similar homes that sold in the 24 months prior to June 30, 2012.

This market comparison is the basis for your property value for the 2013 and 2014 tax years. For most properties, 2014 taxable value will remain the same as that of 2013, as reflected on the 2013 NOV owners receive by mail in May 2013. Property owners will receive a 2014 Notice of Value only if there was some change to the property from 2013. For these properties, the Assessor's Office must value your property as it existed on January 1, 2014, and determine its probable market value as of June 30, 2012.

The market comparison grid and photos on the NOV help clarify the assessment process.
