Shoulder Patches

The distribution of Sheriff’s Office shoulder patches to collectors is coordinated by the Sheriff’s Cadet program. The Cadet program is a law enforcement career orientation program sponsored by the Sheriff's Office in cooperation with the Boy Scouts of America. It permits young people to learn about the law enforcement profession first hand and aids them in making their decision as to whether or not they wish to pursue a career in law enforcement.
