Who is Tom Faure?
Thomas Faure has lived in Boulder for 15 years and has worked in the Boulder County Coroner’s office since 1987, most recently as the Chief Medical Investigator.
A nationally certified death investigator, Faure is a 1975 graduate of Gonzaga Univeristy, and received a master’s degree in Public Administration, with a specialty in medical legal investigations, from Seattle University in 1978.
Before coming to Boulder County, Faure worked as a medical investigator in San Francisco from 1985 to 1986 and as the state medical investigator for the University of New Mexico from 1979 to 1985.
He is also a member of the Colorado Child Fatality Review Commission.
The Boulder County Coroner's Office
compiles statistical information on deaths in the County. An annual report is generated by
the office. A request for the report can be made in either writing or by the
phone.
