Voter Registration


The deadline has passed to request a ballot be mailed to you. You may still register and vote in this November's election, however, you must request a ballot in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center. To minimize your wait, we recommend you register/update your registration at prior to visiting a Voter Service Center.


    Meeting the following criteria is required to register to vote in Colorado:

    • Be a U.S. citizen
    • Be 18 years old or older at the time of the next election  
    • Be a Colorado resident for at least 22 days before the election 
    • Must not be serving a sentence (including parole) for a felony conviction

    Voter Registration Options 

    Register to vote in Colorado by one of the following methods: 

    If registering without a Colorado driver's license or ID card, check the box, "I do not have a Colorado driver's license".

    Registration Information

    A registered voter in Colorado is considered a resident of Colorado for income tax and motor vehicle registration and operation.

    The voter registration takes effect as of the postmark date on the form. If the postmark is not legible, the effective date is the date received by the office.
