City of Louisville Planning Commission Meeting – Thursday, May 14th at 6:30 p.m.

Come voice your support for BCHA’s Kestrel Development at the next City of Louisville Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, May 14th at 6:30 p.m. The Planning Commission will be voting on the preliminary design for our next flagship affordable housing development, now known as Kestrel. The meeting will be held at City Hall, 749 Main Street, Louisville, CO 80027. *Boulder County, in accordance with the Fair Housing Act, prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, familial status or national origin. Amended 5 Year and Annual Plan

The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) hereby notifies the public of the Amended 2015 5-Year and Annual Agency Plan. The Plan is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for all housing authorities that receive program funding.

The following is the final Plan that has been submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for approval: BCHA PLAN. This Plan was submitted for approval after a 45-day public comment period. After the Plan has been approved by HUD, it will be noted and continue to be available for review on this website.

There no site currently active for a recovery housing project. However, BCHA will continue to hold an interest list in case a future recovery housing opportunity becomes available.

Notice of CDBG-DR Funding Applications

The Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) will be submitting two applications for Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Relief funds to the Colorado Division of Housing. The purpose of these applications is to request funds to support the construction of affordable flood recovery housing in the Town of Lyons and to support the construction of affordable flood recovery housing in the City of Louisville. The requests for funding is to benefit persons with low- and moderate- incomes as well as residents affected by presidentially declared disasters.

All interested persons are encouraged to contact the applicant for further information.
