Private Roads, Culverts, & Bridges

Learn how to make sure your home and any other properties you manage are safe from mold. After a flood, mold can present a variety of serious health risks. Landlords and property managers are required to document mold remediation efforts.

Damage Assessment

Completing the Damage Assessment Report Form to report damage to your property will aid the County in their work and help the Land Use Department to address your flood rebuilding needs.


EnergySmart can help residents who need to make important decisions about recent flood damage to their homes. EnergySmart Advisors are available to provide guidance for replacing insulation in the basement, crawlspace and attic, as well as repairing or replacing furnaces, hot water heaters, duct systems, washers, other appliances and more.

Xcel Energy is offering Bonus Flood Rebates for residents to replace flood-damaged equipment such as furnaces, boilers, water heaters, air conditioners and evaporative coolers. Rebates can as much as double any existing rebates in some cases. EnergySmart is available to help residents and businesses in Boulder County submit applications for rebates, select energy efficient equipment and find contractors.

Property Valuation and Taxes

A proration in property value for destroyed structures (resulting in a reduction of 2013 taxes) will be calculated for the dates of Sept. 12 through Dec. 31.
