Recovery Accomplishments

As of October 2015 the county has updated projected spending for recovery following the 2013 Flood. The county initially estimated that recovery would cost approximately $217 million up-front for flood recovery repairs over 5 years, and that is still the estimated cost, thought the timeline may be extended. State and federal agencies will reimburse approximately $161 million of this cost, leaving Boulder County responsible for $56 million in "local match" expenses.

A Current Financial Summary of recovery costs is updated monthly. Costs are for Unincorporated Boulder County recovery projects only.
