Closure Due To Widespread Flood Recovery Efforts

The roads/bridges listed on this page are only the roads that are CLOSED due to the flood event. For a list current road projects that have travel restrictions, visit the Closures & Construction website.

James Canyon Road Closed - Local Residents and Services Only - No Outside Cars or Bicycles

Due to continued recovery and repair operations associated with the September 2013 flood event, Boulder County is re-establishing restrictions on non-local traffic, including bicycles, in James Canyon from the junction with Left Hand Canyon, through Jamestown, to the junction with State Highway 72 (Peak-to-Peak). The restrictions go into effect immediately. Lefthand Canyon will remain open to all roadway users.

Boulder County Transportation is working to open county roads as soon as safely possible. Thank you for your patience.
