Montane Forests and the Mountain Pine Beetle

Mud Lake Open Space
Join volunteer naturalist Cherry Sand and
others and enjoy a moderate two-mile hike above 8,000 feet through this scenic
open space while learning about the montane forest ecosystem. We'll discuss
forest ecology and management, the mountain pine beetle, and also watch for
signs of wildlife.
