Public Meetings

Boulder County encourages residents to engage with the county government through participation with boards and commissions, and at public meetings and hearings.

Calendar

The county-wide calendar lists all scheduled meetings and events.

Advisory Boards & Commissions

Advisory boards and commissions help advise the county commissioners and other elected offices and departments on matters concerning public administration, planning, budgeting, and other functions of local governance. Recruitment for board members occurs two times a year, normally in January and July.

Commissioners’ Hearings & Meetings

The Board of County Commissioners conducts regular meetings and hearings, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Business meetings cover the day-to-operations of the county government, while public hearings cover everything from land use regulations to open space acquisitions to setting the county’s budget priorities. Most meetings are streamed live on the county website. View the advance agenda (60 KB) for a listing of upcoming Commissioners' hearing and meetings.

For information on how to present your comments and opinions to the Board of County Commissioners, please review our Guide to Public Hearings
