Adult Immunization Guidelines

  • Some adults incorrectly assume that the vaccines they received as children will protect them for the rest of their lives. Generally this is true, except that:

Boulder County Public Health Immunization Program provides adult immunizations to protect against tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox. Adults can receive influenza and pneumococcal immunizations at their physicians’ offices or at community influenza clinics, which are held in many locations during the flu season.
