Boulder County Public Health
Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) is a high-performance organization
under the policy direction of a progressive board of health, with 220
staff, a $15 million budget, and extensive collaborative community
partnerships. The department serves a combined population of nearly
300,000 individuals that live in 12 towns, municipalities, and
unincorporated areas within a 740-square-mile county. BCPH operates from
six buildings in four sites located throughout the county, as well as
having staff deployed in most high schools and middle schools in the two
local school districts. Program services are designed to be culturally
and linguistically appropriate and range in size from 5,000 Women,
Infants, and Children (WIC) Program clients to 100 pregnant and
parenting women served by the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP).
