Internship Title	Program Area	Time Commitment
Detox Counselor	Addiction Recovery	8 hours /week

Outpatient Intern	Addiction Recovery	15-20 hours /week; September through May (flexible time frames)

General Inquiries	Our volunteer services program will also accept general inquiries. Often, we are able to create positions based on the candidates.

We also have volunteer opportunities and position openings available.

Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) offers internships in several of its programs to students from colleges and universities nationwide. Our internships vary in length from short-term to year-long placements.

Some of the benefits to a student internship at BCPH are:

Regular supervision by program staff.
Networking opportunities with our community partners.
Working closely with public health professionals as a member of program staff.
Gaining valuable experience in a dynamic public health setting.
