Specialized Women's Services (SWS)
and Special Connections
Any pregnant or parenting woman who is abusing alcohol or drugs is eligible for the
Specialized Women's Services and Special Connections Programs. Staff provides
individual and group counseling, education, and case management services.
The goals of
these programs are to increase the number of healthy infants and maintain intact families
by reducing or stopping the use of alcohol or drugs by pregnant and parenting women.
