Emergency Contraception Poster and Information Cards

Emergency contraception (E/C) can safely prevent pregnancy when used within 120 hours after sex.  E/C information posters and information cards, including a resource directory, are available at no cost to Boulder County residents.

E/C poster - English: Emergency birth control can safely prevent pregnancy when used within 120 hours after sex.  Emergency birth control does not prevent HIV and other STD's.  Abstinence is the only 100% effective method of birth control.

E/C poster - Spanish: Las pastillas anticonceptivas de emergencia pueden prevenir un embarazo de manera segura si se las toma dentro de 120 horas de tener relaciones.  Las pastillas de emergencia no previenen el VIH ni otras infecciones.  El abstenerse de las relaciones sexuales es el unico anticonceptivo que es 100% efectivo.

E/C information card - English: Emergency birth control, which is a method to be used after sex to prevent pregnancy.

E/C information card - Spanish: Pastillas anticonceptivas de emergencia.  Un metodo que se usa despues de tener relaciones para prevenir un embarazo.
