LGBTIQ Youth: Health Information


LGBTIQ youth and young adults have many of the same health and safety concerns as other youth and young adults.

These include everything from acne to puberty and hormones to making friends you can trust. Yet there are some health issues that affect LGBTIQ youth somewhat differently than other youth.

These web pages are designed to give you some information about those issues.

The most important thing to remember as you search for advice and information is that you are OK just the way you are.

You are certainly not alone; it may feel like it, but there are lots of other LGBTIQ youth out there ... probably right in your very own neighborhood.

You have a right to support, safety, education, and health care. You have a right to information. And you will find friendship, love, and satisfaction.
