OASOS
OASOS stands for Open & Affirming Sexual
Orientation & gender identity Support.
OASOS aims to increase healthy behaviors and
decrease risky behaviors among LGBTIQ youth through support,
advocacy, and education.
OASOS runs weekly peer support groups for
questioning, queer, intersex, pansexual, transgender,
bisexual, lesbian and gay youth, ages 13-20, in Boulder
County and surrounding areas. Our groups are confidential,
free, and also FABULOUS! We hope to see you at an OASOS
group soon!
In addition to our weekly groups, the OASOS
Program Specialists provides free and confidential crisis
intervention, referral, and support services to LGBTIQ youth
and adults in their lives.

In conjunction with the OASOS Program, Boulder County
Public Health offers training on LGBTIQ issues to school staff and
students, health care providers, and other youth-serving professionals.
