Unintended Pregnancy Prevention (UPP) Program
Research has shown that children who are planned have a
better chance of growing into healthy, happy adults. The Unintended
Pregnancy Prevention Program helps to create awareness of this issue in
the community, and provides training and consultation on effective
pregnancy prevention. The program also works with health care
providers and community groups to assure that effective birth control
methods are widely available and accessible.
The overall goal of the program is to reduce unintended pregnancy
and promote healthy family development in Boulder County.
