REAP the benefits of energy efficiency
The first step to keeping energy in your home - and money in your wallet
- is to find out where you are using and losing energy. The Center for
ReSource Conservation’s Residential Energy Audit Program (REAP) can help.
The REAP provides a personal, interactive, professional energy efficiency
evaluation – at an affordable cost.
The REAP is a collaborative effort between the Center for ReSource
Conservation (CRC), Boulder County, the City of Boulder, Longmont Power and
Communications and the Town of Superior. A REAP home energy analysis will
help you understand your energy usage and give you a personalized set of
recommendations to lower your energy bill.
How it works
The REAP is a two-part audit consisting of a pre-audit visit and a technical
energy audit provided by a local energy efficiency testing professional.
Homeowners are given a complete report that outlines the findings of the
technical audit and recommends cost-effective, energy-efficient improvements
for your home.
The Cost
Boulder County and the Town of Superior each provide a $50 subsidy toward
the cost of the audit. Superior homeowners’ after-subsidy cost is based on
the home’s conditioned square footage.
