Boulder County Food Safety Advisory Committee (FSAC)
Share your thoughts about food safety in Boulder County!
In the past, food safety in Boulder County has been focused
mainly on numbers of inspections, and it included few follow-ups and little outlet for
consumers. Today our emphasis is on the outcome of inspections and
collaboration between industry, government, consumers, and academia. We
believe that by working together, we can meet our goal of having one of the
best food facility programs in the country.
On May 22, 2008, we established the Boulder County Food
Safety Advisory Committee to bring together consumers, industry, academia,
and government to discuss food safety issues in our community.
