About BCPH Food Protection Program
The Boulder
County Public Health (BCPH) Food Protection Program aims to promote healthy
people and healthy communities through education and regulation of food
service establishments.
In
Boulder County, there are over 1,200 "permitted" permanent food
establishments, including restaurants, food and espresso carts, coffee
shops, delis, and the fresh food sections of grocery stores. Each of these
establishments is inspected to assess compliance with the Colorado Retail
Food Code.
In addition, environmental health specialists investigate
complaints and, if requested, offer an educational session for staff. |
