Water Quality Program
The vision of the Environmental Health
Division is a safe, clean, and healthy environment for Boulder
County. The Water Quality Program has put this vision into
action. The team members strive to demonstrate the values of
the Environmental Health Division, and help continue working
toward our mission.
We work with businesses, government agencies,
community groups, and homeowners to promote clean air, pure
water, safe food handling, hazardous waste management, and
control of diseases spread through insects and animals. The
Environmental Health Division has been nationally recognized
for its innovative community outreach and pollution prevention
efforts.

The Boulder County Health Department’s
Environmental Health Program shall protect, promote, and
enhance the health and well-being of the public and the
environment by:
