Nurse-Family Partnership
What is the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP)?
The Nurse-Family Partnership is a voluntary program where specially trained
nurses visit low-income women in their homes during their first pregnancy
and throughout the first two years of their children’s lives.
More How might I qualify for NFP?
Mothers-to-be and mothers up to one
month post-partum who meet certain income guidelines are potentially
eligible for the program. NFP has the capacity to serve 100 Boulder
County families. Many working families qualify. Individuals who participate in other
programs, such as food stamps, Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance to Needy
Families, may automatically be income-eligible. To apply, please contact us at (303) 413-7500.
The Nurse-Family Partnership is affiliated with the National Nurse-Family Partnership,
and represents a
highly refined approach to the long-established service strategy of home
visiting.
