Who is Eligible for WIC?
Many working families qualify. Individuals who participate in other programs such as
food stamps,
Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) may
automatically be income-eligible for WIC.
To be eligible for WIC, a person must meet the following requirements:
- Be a pregnant, breastfeeding (up to one year postpartum) or
non-breastfeeding (up to six months postpartum) woman; an infant; or
child up to five years of age.
- Be a resident of Boulder County.
- Be income-eligible (see below).
- Have identification and proof of income and residence.
- Have a health or nutritional need.
