In the photos below, MRCBC members have discussions at
the Longmont Fire Department, Station #5. MRCBC conducted an exercise where
MRCBC members called up fellow MRCBC members, checked credentials, completed online courses, took photos for MRCBC badges, discussed additional items needed in ready bags for personal preparedness, and networked.

Commissioners Award Volunteer Grants
Catherine Horner-Sluiter, Advisory Council member (below, second from left), accepted a $500 grant from the Boulder County Commissioners on behalf of three volunteers from the Boulder County Medical Reserve Corp advisory
board – Catherine Horner-Sluiter, Janet Sanchez, and Walter Boner, Jr. – who collaborated on a proposal to purchase 42 handcrank radios for emergency response volunteers’ ready kits. |
