Cyclosporiasis is a diarrheal illness caused by a microscopic parasite
called Cyclospora.
Cyclospora has been found throughout the world, but it is more
common in developing countries.
Illnesses have been associated with travelers to Asia, the Carribean, and
parts of Latin and South America.
Recent outbreaks in the United States and Canada have been linked to
various types of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
